Located in downtown Austin, Arthouse is a renovation and expansion project of an existing contemporary art space.
The building currently is a rich hybrid of a turn-of-the-century theatre and a 1950's department store.
LTL seeks to amplify this accumulation of history by conceiving of the design as a series of integrated tactical additions.
In conjunction with the programmatic expansion of the gallery spaces,
the design amplifies the visual dialogue between the art and the surrounding urban environment. The project is currently in
Design Development and will be presented publicly later this year.
